Snorkeling/Swimming
Manuia Beach Resort - your Rarotonga accommodation - is located on an excellent beach for swimming and snorkeling. We provide free snorkeling gear to guest and encourage you to visit one of our many Ra’ui areas (marine reserves). We are located only 500m away from one of the most spectacular marine reserves in Rarotonga.

Big Game Fishing
Catch a Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, or Marlin depending on the season. Big game fishing is right on our doorstep, so there's no need to travel for miles to experience the thrill of pulling in a big fish! We can book you on our preferred fishing charter Marlin Queen, who are “Serious about Fishing”! We recommend you email us directly to do this and be sure not to miss out! Deep Sea Diving
For those keen to give diving a try, we have a scuba dive try-out session in our pool at Manuia Beach Resort every Monday at 3pm. This is complimentary and is run by our preferred dive operator The Dive Centre. Dive packages can be arranged for all levels, including beginners and more advanced diving. Lagoon Cruises
A lagoon cruise is a must when visiting Rarotonga. The glass bottom boat cruises depart at 10am and 11am Monday – Saturday and includes a BBQ lunch. Pickups are available free of charge from Manuia Beach Resort and bookings through our office are essential - contact us for more information.

4WD Safari’s
Discover our back roads and mountain areas by joining one of the 4WD safaris. Great fun and entertainment while learning about Rarotonga culture and history. All mountain safaris include lunch and daily pick up which can be arranged with our front office.

Island Nights
A Cultural Island night is a must see while visiting the Cook Islands. Cook Island dancing and drumming is spectacular and is an extremely important part of the culture. Our front office staff will arrange and recommend one of our hugely popular island nights.

Scenic Walks/Conservation
Rarotonga has several mountain tracks with the most popular being the famous “Across the Island Walk”. We recommend you go with a guide and this can be arranged through the office with Pa’s Mountain Walks. Other natural areas of interest are the Takitumu Conservation area, Highland Paradise and Maire Nui Gardens all of which visits can be arranged through the office.

Sailing Adventures
Enjoy the stunning sights of Rarotonga from outside the reef aboard the newly refurbished Tropicbird. Kick back and relax, spot a humpback whale, or experience the thrill of snorkeling in our deep waters.
